WJSFF provided a grant to host 300 children who are grappling with housing insecurity for an epic birthday party at World on Wheels in Los Angeles in an effort to tell these young people they matter, we see them, and we’re here to help.

During the Bad Boys 3 shoot in Miami, WJSFF supported Ellen Smith’s continued work with the Max M. Fisher Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties by partnering with Omaze, to build awareness and drive donors. In the end, 5,134 donors raised over $83,832 for the organization.
To further WJSFF’s goal of providing access to the entertainment industry, Omaze winners were invited to the Bad Boys 3 set to meet Will and gain a sense of the production experience.

From Bullying
to Bravery
Often times when a video goes viral, it’s for laughs, but rarely does one warm the heart. At a Memphis, Tennessee high school, Michael Todd was being bullied about his clothes. A fellow student, Kristopher Graham, who at first joined in on the teasing, reflected on the incident and decided to not only apologize but ask his best friend, Antwain Garrett, to help provide Michael with new clothes and shoes. When a video of their small act of kindness went viral, Will had to amplify the teenagers’ generosity.
Will and WJSFF connected with The Ellen Degeneres Show to celebrate the boys’ kindness and their courage to overcome the peer pressure of bullying. During an interview with Ellen, Will not only surprised the young men with Bel-Air Swag and a pair of New Balance shoes, but paid their generosity forward by providing 600 pairs of New Balance Shoes and Bel-Air Merch to their fellow students at MLK College Preparatory High School for the first ever MLK Bel-Air Day.
